Run For Joy 5k and 1-mile Fun Run and Kids' Carnival

PLEASE JOIN US FOR OUR 5TH ANNUAL 5K RUN/WALK, 1 MILE FUN RUN, and Kids 100-m DASH!

Please join the Alexis Joy D’Achille Foundation as we raise awareness for postpartum depression.  The Foundation is proud to partner with Allegheny Health Network and Highmark Health to open the Alexis Joy D'Achille Center for Women's Behavioral Health at West Penn Hospital this fall which will support new mothers and their families as they fight perinatal mood disorders. This will be a unique facility that will offer the most comprehensive, state-of-the-art care available in western Pennsylvania for women suffering from pregnancy-related depression. This is a family event! Strollers are welcome. 1-mile fun run will start immediately following the start for the 5k at 9 am. Please come to walk or run!  And then bring the kids to the CARNIVAL!

On the day of the event, there will be activities for the kids including a kid’s 100-meter dash beginning at 10:15. Plus more food and fun including pizza, fruit, cookies, and much more!!! Race photographs will be available. 

Great prizes for overall winners and age group winners. Race winners and age group winners for men and women- 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74.

Register before August 3 to guarantee Race T-Shirt. On race day, registration will be at the North Park Boathouse.
